Ohio – Get ready for some exciting spring fishing! The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife is releasing 85,000 rainbow trout across 95 locations statewide starting March 13th. This is great news for anglers looking to catch these feisty fish in March, April, and May.

The trout are being stocked in a variety of locations, including lakes, ponds, and reservoirs, to provide opportunities for anglers of all skill levels. - Northwest Ohio: East Harbor State Park Pond, Giertz Lake, Maumee Bay State Park Nature Center Pond, Olander Lake, Pearson Metropark Ponds, Sleepy Hollow Park Pond
- Northeast Ohio: Beartown Lake, Brushwood Lake, Little Turtle Pond, Munroe Falls Lake, Rowland Nature Preserve Lake, Westlake Nature Center Pond
- Southeast Ohio: Buckeye Park Lake, Forked Run, Penrod Lake, Rose Lake, St. Clairsville Reservoir, Turkey Creek Lake, Yoctangee Park Lake
