Chillicothe — The Ross County Grand Jury returned all 20 of their cases Friday, March 1st, with eight open for release to the public. From testimony in the the grand jury in one of the cases, according to the Ross County Prosecutor’s Office:

On December 6th, a Chillicothe Police officer was dispatched to an address on Ewing Street over a domestic dispute.

The victim told the officer that she was four months pregnant with the baby of 33-year-old Kristopher Jackson of Columbus. She said they had an argument over personal property when he grabbed her and slammed her back against the staircase, hurting her neck in the process.

Since she was pregnant, that becomes a felony.

For indictments on fifth degree felony domestic violence, Jackson could get up to a year and $2,500 in fines.
