Chillicothe – Police responded to a call of theft in progress at the Walmart on Rivertrace Lane on March 16th. Upon arrival, officers apprehended a male and female suspect attempting to leave the store with stolen merchandise.
When Police arrived they blocked the vehicle and detained both Alysha Parker and Trevor Foreman. The stolen items some found in plain view others found inside Parkers purse were recovered and returned to the store. During a search incident to arrest, officers found suspected narcotics on one of the suspects. A further search of the vehicle revealed a Glock Model 45 9mm handgun, drug paraphernalia, and a full magazine of 9mm rounds.
The suspects told police that they had stolen the items and attempted to return them inside the store.
The firearm was not reported stolen, but Parker told police that she had stolen it from her ex boyfriend.
Parker was found facing additional charges due to a secret indictment warrant for narcotics possession in Madison County.
Alysha will be charged with Theft, Drug Paraphernalia and Weapons Under Disability.
The drugs will be sent for testing to confirm the presence of narcotics. The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges are pending.
