Ohio – Brian Stewart has unofficially won his 3rd term nomitnation as State Representative for the 12th Ohio House District, which includes all of Madison and Pickaway Counties and a western part of Franklin County.

Stewart who lives in Ashville inside Pickaway County, not only is a Representative but also maintains a successful law practice representing businesses and individuals as the owner of The Law Office of Brian Stewart, LLC in Circleville.

“I’m very grateful to Republicans in the 12th district for voting overwhelmingly to make me our party’s candidate for State Representative for a third straight election. As a legislator, I’ve cut income taxes for every resident, delivered property tax relief for Ohio seniors, passed 13 pieces of legislation, and been at the forefront of every major issue facing Ohio over my first 2 terms in the Ohio House of Representatives. I look forward to earning a third term in November and defending this seat against efforts by the radical Left to turn it blue,” said Stewart.

Recently Stewart helped override Governor Dewines Veto of House Bill 68, the Safe Act and Save the Women’s Sport act in which he co-sponsored. The bill will protect children from permanent sex-change surgeries, and force biological males to not compete against females in sports.

Stewart also co-sponsored legislation with Phil Plummer (R-Dayton) to authorize the State of Ohio to use nitrogen hypoxia in addition to lethal injection whenever the latter is not available to carry out a capital sentence.

Stewart will now have to win in the General election in the Fall
