Laurelville – In a shock to the community, locals have confirmed that Laurelville’s mayor Brent Ebert passed away after surgery yesterday.
According to the village, “I’m not sure I can do justice to expressing the heartbreak our little village feels at the loss of our wonderful Mayor Brent Ebert. His love of and dedication to Laurelville was felt in everything he did. Every decision and action was always for the greater good of our community, not just for what a few might want and never for what he might want. May his family know that we all mourn with them at the loss of this great man.”
Ebert has been the Laurelville mayor since 2016 he was 70 when he passed away.
