Grove City, Ohio – Officers swiftly responded to a reported robbery at Union Savings Bank, located at 4090 Hoover Rd, this afternoon. According to reports, a female suspect entered the bank around 3:16 pm and allegedly threatened a teller, insinuating possession of a weapon, before demanding money.
Following the incident, the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle, prompting a pursuit that extended into Columbus. Despite attempts to evade authorities, officers successfully halted the suspect’s vehicle. Without further escalation, they apprehended the suspect.
Fortunately, there were no reported injuries or property damage resulting from the incident, reassuring the public’s safety.
At this stage, the Grove City Division of Police has chosen not to disclose the identity of the suspect.
