CIRCLEVILLE – Circleville City has announced that the splash pad at Mary Virginia park and Ted Lewis has opened and is operating now daily.
The splash pad normally opens on Memorial day weekend, will be open from 12 pm to 7 pm, and will stay in operation until Labor Day weekend. Due to the hot weather and school closing this week, the city opened the splash pads early.
Along with the splash pad, Ted Lewis now offers several shelters for lunching, a full playground for kids, a rope swing, and a climbing set with slides. The new waterpark is handicapable and free to use. Mary Virginia park had specialty equipment swings, both parks are open to the public during daylight hours.
Mary Virginia offers a walking and biking trail, a dog park, and A boundless playground that allows children with different physical, developmental, cognitive and sensory abilities to enjoy the playground environment and wetlands with bird watching.
