[Richland Township, May 25th, 2024] – Sheriff Alex Lape of Richland Township issued a statement revealing that on May 24th, 2024, deputies responded to a distress call in the 8000 block of Pleasantville Road concerning an unresponsive male. Upon arrival, Thorn Township medics confirmed the tragic passing of Bradd Johnson Jr., aged 25.
Further investigation by detectives from the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Investigations Bureau, in conjunction with the Fairfield County Corner Investigators, unveiled that Mr. Johnson had sustained a gunshot wound. Consequently, the case has been escalated to a homicide investigation.
