As the 2024 Pickaway County Fair draws near, anticipation reaches fever pitch, with a slew of exhilarating events and attractions in store for fairgoers. From heart-pounding performances to family-friendly activities, this year’s fair promises something for everyone.
One of the highlights of the fair is the lineup of grandstand events, which are included with paid admission. Starting on Saturday, June 15th, with harness racing at 1pm, the action-packed schedule continues throughout the week with a variety of thrilling spectacles:
- Sunday, June 16th: Another round of harness racing kicks off at 1pm.
- Monday, June 17th: Get ready for an evening of excitement with Rough E Rodeo Productions starting at 7pm.
- Tuesday, June 18th: Motocross enthusiasts won’t want to miss the Fast Traxx event at 7pm.
- Wednesday, June 19th: The adrenaline continues with Autocross sponsored by South Central Power Co. at 7pm.
- Thursday, June 20th: COTPC Pulls, sponsored by Rural King, promise to keep audiences on the edge of their seats starting at 7pm.
- Friday, June 21st: Prepare for an evening of intense competition with OSTPA Pulls sponsored by Dyna-Gro at 7pm.
- Saturday, June 22nd: The fair culminates in a thrilling Demolition Derby sponsored by Gouge Quality Roofing at 7pm.

Saturday, June 15th: Sam’s Excavating Unlimited Day
- Free Admission sponsored by The Delong Company
- Highlights include sheep, goats, and poultry move-in, horse and llama/alpaca move-in, and Adelphi Band performance.
Sunday, June 16th: Free Admission
- Highlights include market hogs move-in, homemaking project entries, Pumpkin Show Band performance, and the Opening Ceremony followed by King & Queen Contest and Cake/Pie Auction.
Monday, June 17th: Homeland Credit Union Day
- Highlights include market hog showmanship, Jr. Fair Horse Show, and Rough E Rodeo Productions.
Tuesday, June 18th: Georgia-Pacific Day
- Kids Day with unlimited rides specials
- Highlights include sheep show, Jr. Fair Horse Show, COSI Live Show, and Motocross – Fast Traxx.
Wednesday, June 19th: Taylor Rentals & Party Plus Day
- Highlights include 4-H Special Interest Judging, Autocross sponsored by South Central Power Co., and Boot Up Country Line Dancing.
Thursday, June 20th: Dry Run Mobile Sips Day
- Kids Day with unlimited rides specials
- Highlights include market rabbit show, 4-H Food, Clothing & Creative Arts Judging, and COTPC Pull sponsored by Rural King.
Friday, June 21st: The Savings Bank Day
- Senior Day and Veterans Day with free admission specials
- Highlights include Jr. Fair Horse Fun Show, Pickaway’s Perfect People Ag-Stravaganza, and OSTPA Pull sponsored by Dyna-Gro.
Saturday, June 22nd: Kroger Day
- $2 off admission at gate before 4pm with non-perishable food item donations
- Highlights include Pancakes with Katie’s Pancakes, Jr. Fair Livestock Sale, and the grand finale Demolition Derby.
