COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Amanda-Clearcreek FFA Chapter continues its tradition of success at the 96th Ohio FFA Convention. At the Convention this year, three members of the 2023-2024 officer team earned gold ratings on their officer books and the chapter also earned recognition for being a gold-rated chapter.
During the Fourth General Session of the Ohio FFA Convention, Maddie Cordle was recognized for earning a gold rating on her Secretary’s book, Rylyn Foster was recognized for earning a gold rating on her Treasurer’s book and Haley Robinson was recognized for earning a gold rating on her Reporter’s book. These officer books are a culmination of all of the work that these three officers did over the course of their year of service. The books display the chapter activities, financial records, attendance and much more.
To earn this gold rating, these three officers spent hours on end compiling their officer books. Then, their books were sent off to be reviewed on multiple different levels. After being reviewed thoroughly, these officers received a gold rating on their books.
Additionally, the chapter earned a gold rating on the National Chapter application at the state level and was recognized at the Second General Session of the Ohio FFA Convention. This extensive application recognizes chapters that complete an annual Program of Activities and then carry out all of the activities and events that were planned for the year. The chapter is graded on three content areas: Growing Leaders, Strengthening Agriculture and Building Communities. The application will now move on to the national level for review and comparison to other FFA chapters across the country.
A huge congratulations is extended to all members and officers of the chapter who assisted in the success of the A-C FFA program. The hard work and dedication of the members of the Amanda-Clearcreek FFA Chapter does not go unnoticed!
