On August 7th, 2024, at approximately 3:00 pm, Pickaway County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of an unresponsive female at the Circleville Walmart. Upon arrival, they found Jennifer Woods slumped over the steering wheel of her vehicle. After waking her up, deputies conducted a search with the assistance of K9 partner Din, trained in narcotics detection.

The search revealed a meth pipe with methamphetamine inside, as well as Clonazepam pills without a prescription. Jennifer claimed the pills belonged to a friend, but deputies were skeptical. An A.R.I.D.E. deputy was called to the scene, and Jennifer was given Standard Field Sobriety Tests, which indicated she was under the influence.

Jennifer was arrested for OVI, drug possession, and possessing drug abuse instruments. She was taken to the Pickaway County Jail and booked on those charges. The meth pipe and methamphetamine were packaged as evidence.

The incident highlights the ongoing efforts of the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office to combat drug use and impaired driving in the community.
