CHILLICOTHE, OH — A routine traffic stop on August 24, 2024, led to the arrest of Tylor Greeno on drug-related charges, following an investigation by local police.

At approximately 3:21 p.m. on South Court Street, Officer Timothy Sanford observed a vehicle with Ohio plate KHC9386, which was registered to a silver Pontiac. However, the vehicle in question was black. Additionally, the registered owner’s license was listed as suspended. Officer Sanford initiated a stop at the intersection of Goodchild Service Road and US 23.

Upon stopping the vehicle, Officer Sanford made contact with the driver, Tylor Greeno. Greeno appeared nervous and expressed frustration about the stop, claiming he was unaware that changing his vehicle’s color was an issue. Officer Sanford was familiar with Greeno’s suspended license status. During the interaction, Officers Smith and Murphy arrived on the scene. Officer Smith noticed a drug baggie in plain view inside the vehicle.

Greeno was asked to exit the vehicle, and during a consensual pat-down, officers discovered a knife. A K9 unit, Dexter, was deployed around the vehicle, and the dog alerted to the driver’s door seam. A search of the vehicle, based on the K9 alert and visible evidence, revealed a small baggie containing suspected methamphetamine residue and a larger baggie with 4.5 grams of crushed and cut suboxone.

Greeno claimed that the suboxone was spilled and later dried in a baggie, but no liquid was found in the baggie he referred to. Additionally, officers found scales, a drug sales log, and other baggies with suspected methamphetamine residue inside the vehicle. Greeno was found to be carrying a significant amount of cash in various denominations.

Due to the substantial evidence of drug trafficking, Greeno is facing charges of Possession and Trafficking in a Schedule III narcotic. The suboxone was seized and logged into evidence, and all evidence will be documented and uploaded to evidence.com. Axon body cameras were activated during the incident. A summons will be requested for Greeno in relation to these charges.

The case remains under investigation as authorities continue to process the evidence.
