Bedford, OH – In a shocking incident, an 8-year-old child went missing along with their family’s car and mother’s purse, only to be found miles away at a Target store in a neighboring town.

According to Bedford Police, the resourceful youngster drove the family SUV for over ten minutes before arriving at the retail giant.

Authorities were stunned by the child’s daring adventure. “We’ve had some wild stories, but this one takes the cake,” said a Bedford Police spokesperson. “I’ve finally found someone who’s in more of a hurry to shop at Target than my wife!”

Fortunately, Bainbridge Police located the child safely inside the Target store. When the local police arrived at Target they found the vehicle parked outside the story but the child wasn’t with it. When they entered the store they found the child had gone shopping with the 400 dollars cash she had found in her mom’s purse.

The young shopper was reunited with their family and returned home without harm. While details of the shopping trip remain unclear, authorities did reveal that the child was allowed to finish their Frappuccino.

“We’re not mean,” joked the police spokesperson.

The incident has raised concerns about child supervision and vehicle safety, but ultimately serves as a testament to the child’s quick thinking and resourcefulness.
