Weekend Police Reports from Circleville: Traffic Stops, Domestic Incidents, and Thefts

Circleville, Ohio – The Circleville Police Department responded to a variety of incidents over the weekend, including traffic stops, domestic disturbances, and thefts.

On September 20, officers conducted multiple traffic stops, issuing warnings for several violations. Notably, a report was taken regarding a traffic stop on Kingston Pike around 2:06 AM, and later in the morning, a domestic trouble call on South Pickaway Street resulted in an arrest.

Suspicious vehicles and circumstances were reported at various locations, including Stella Avenue and E. Main Street, with some incidents requiring further investigation.

The department also dealt with theft reports, including one on E. Franklin Street where property was reported stolen. Officers responded to an accident with no injuries on South Court Street, as well as other minor accidents throughout the weekend.

On September 21, officers continued to handle domestic issues and disturbances. A notable arrest for a warrant was made on Renick Avenue later that evening. Officers responded to several false alarm calls and checked on the well-being of individuals in the community.

The weekend concluded on September 22 with officers addressing multiple traffic offenses, issuing citations, and following up on theft reports from earlier in the weekend. The department noted several well-being checks and alarm drops, most of which were resolved without incident.

Overall, police activity included a total of 129 recorded incidents, reflecting the ongoing efforts of the Circleville Police to ensure community safety and respond to various calls for service.
