HOCKING HILLS, Ohio — Jack Pine has officially released his 2024 Glass Pumpkin of the Year during the Jack Pine Glass Pumpkin Festival, held from September 20-22. This year’s stunning creation, dubbed “Frankenstein,” features a vibrant purple base adorned with green accents and a striking neon green stem.
The festival showcased a large pumpkin carved with a Frankenstein theme, complemented by a giant Frankenstein character who proudly displayed the themed pumpkin as his latest creation. This marks the continuation of a tradition for the renowned glass artist, who has previously unveiled Halloween and fall-themed pumpkins; last year, the design was inspired by “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”
Fans on social media expressed their enthusiasm, with one remarking, “This gives me Halloween vibes! The year before had a fall theme with spider webs.” The annual release continues to evolve, showcasing increasingly intricate designs.
The Glass Pumpkin Festival is not only a highlight for Jack Pine’s fans but also provides a family-friendly atmosphere centered around art in Ohio’s picturesque fall landscape.
