Chillicothe Police Department Daily Report: October 4, 2024

CHILLICOTHE, OH – The Chillicothe Police Department addressed a range of incidents on October 3, 2024, including traffic violations, theft, and disorderly conduct.

At approximately 1:26 AM, officers conducted a traffic stop on South Bridge Street after observing a white truck with expired registration. The driver was identified as Devin Edward Death.

Another traffic stop was initiated at 3:37 AM on North Bridge Street for an expired plate.

Throughout the morning, the department responded to various calls, including a trespassing incident on Consumer Center Drive and a domestic dispute reported on Anderson Station Road. A disorderly conduct case was logged on Lille Street, and officers also investigated a juvenile-related disturbance on Yoctangee Parkway.

Later in the morning, officers were dispatched to North Bridge Street regarding a hit-skip accident, and a domestic dispute on Mt. Logan Drive was reported from the previous day.

The afternoon brought multiple theft reports, with incidents logged on North High Street and River Trace Lane. Officers also responded to a theft at Murphys Oil, and investigations are currently underway.

Additionally, officers issued citations for traffic violations, including driving under suspension and failing to stop for a school bus.

In total, the Chillicothe Police Department recorded 18 incidents for the day, highlighting the diverse range of activities and challenges faced by law enforcement in the community.
