What Comes to Mind When You Think of the Pumpkin Show?
When I think about the Circleville Pumpkin Show, I feel a deep sense of pride for my community. The event brings numerous traditions that my friends and family cherish. There’s nothing quite like walking up to the Pumpkin Show with loved ones and witnessing our little town come to life!

Favorite Pumpkin Show Memory
In 2021, I was in 8th grade, and the Pumpkin Show had just returned after being canceled due to the pandemic. My big sister, Morgan, was playing in a volleyball tournament in Gallia, Ohio. I had the chance to ride the bus with the team, and after they won, we rushed back to see our teammate, Chandler Hayes, compete in the Miss Pumpkin Show contest. It was exhilarating to run to the stage just in time to hear her announced as Queen. That’s a memory I’ll cherish forever.

Favorite Pumpkin Show Food
It’s hard to choose just one food at the Pumpkin Show! My top three favorites are fried cheese on a stick (from Crabtree’s booth, of course), bourbon chicken, and Bessie’s chicken and noodles. For dessert, it has to be a Lindsey’s pumpkin doughnut!

How Would You Describe the Pumpkin Show to a First-Timer?
I would describe the Pumpkin Show as magical. As you walk around, you see people of all ages coming together to enjoy our small town and everything it has to offer.

If You Could Add One Thing to the Pumpkin Show, What Would It Be?
If I could add one thing to the Circleville Pumpkin Show, it would definitely be an extra day. Living in Circleville, I always look forward to October because of the Pumpkin Show, and I never feel ready for it to end. Those four days fly by, and an extra day would be wonderful!

How Would You Promote the Pumpkin Show as Queen?
As Queen, I would promote the Pumpkin Show as a place that truly has something for everyone, regardless of age or economic status. The Pumpkin Show is the Greatest Free Show on Earth, offering activities like walking around, watching parades, enjoying great food, and riding rides.

Who Has Had the Greatest Impact on Your Life?
My mom has had the greatest impact on my life. She is incredibly hardworking and has overcome many tough obstacles. I look up to her as a mother of four, raising us all to have a strong faith in God and to treat others with respect and kindness. I wouldn’t be where I am today without her; she is my biggest role model.

What Accomplishment Are You Most Proud Of?
Before being nominated by my peers to represent Circleville High School in the Miss Pumpkin Show contest, my greatest accomplishment was ranking first in my class of 159 students with a 4.25 GPA. I take pride in maintaining such a high GPA while being involved in various activities.
