Circleville, OH – The Circleville Police Department handled a variety of incidents throughout the day on October 21, 2024, responding to a total of 34 calls for service.
Early in the morning, police dealt with multiple 911 hang-ups and checked on suspicious persons, which were resolved without incident. Notably, at 9:09 a.m., officers responded to Clinton Street regarding threats and harassment, resulting in a report being taken.
Later that morning, police investigated breaking and entering incidents on Stihl Avenue and Ruth Avenue, both of which were documented. A disabled vehicle was reported on West High Street, and property damage was noted on East Mound Street, leading to further reports.
Around midday, officers responded to a disturbance on Pontious Lane and another on East Main Street, each generating reports. A theft was also reported on Dunmore Road.
In the afternoon, several well-being checks were conducted, with varying results—some were checked okay while others were unable to be located. Traffic incidents included an injury accident on Lancaster Pike, with reports taken and information gathered regarding the circumstances.
As the day progressed, police addressed a non-injury accident on South Court Street, while a drunk individual was arrested at East Franklin Street. Other calls included neighbor troubles and suspicious vehicles, many of which were gone on arrival.
