LOGAN, OH – A local resident, Steve, has struck it rich with a $1 million win from the Ohio Lottery’s Merry Money scratch-off game.
Steve purchased his winning ticket at Tee Jay’s Drive Thru & Deli, located at 511 E Front St in Logan. Opting for the cash option, he will receive $500,000, which, after mandatory federal and state tax withholdings of 28 percent, will net him approximately $360,000.
Merry Money is a $20 scratch-off ticket that offers a top prize of $40,000 per year for 25 years. As of October 21, there are still three top prizes remaining, along with a variety of other exciting prizes.
