Chillicothe, OH — The Chillicothe Police Department responded to a series of incidents over the past 24 hours, highlighting a range of activities from traffic enforcement to investigations of theft and domestic disturbances.

In the early hours of October 25, officers were dispatched to South Walnut Street following reports of a man possibly passed out in a vehicle. The situation is under investigation. Shortly thereafter, officers responded to an active domestic situation on Akron Street.

A disturbance was reported on Dayton Street around 1:30 AM, and investigations are ongoing. Later that morning, a theft was reported at the Pilot gas station on East Main Street.

Throughout the day, officers also dealt with various other calls, including a well-being check on a woman living out of her vehicle on Hildegarten Street. While the woman was found to be okay, her vehicle was issued a citation for illegal parking.

Officers were also busy with traffic enforcement, citing multiple drivers for speeding, with recorded speeds exceeding the posted limits. One notable incident involved a green Ford truck traveling at 69 mph in a 50 mph zone.

Additionally, a theft at Walmart on River Trace resulted in a summons being issued, and another report of disorderly conduct was logged on East Water Street.

A two-vehicle accident occurred on North Bridge Street, with one male transported to the hospital. A citation was issued to the driver deemed at fault.
