Circleville Police Respond to Multiple Calls on November 13, 2024

The Circleville Police Department handled a variety of incidents throughout the city on November 13, 2024, including several reports of theft, disturbances, and traffic-related offenses.

The day began with routine extra patrols in various locations, including North Court Street, Watt Street, and Avon Drive, all of which were marked “Checked Okay.” A well-being check was conducted on Clark Drive at 1:15 a.m. and also resulted in a “Checked Okay” disposition.

Later in the morning, at 7:38 a.m., a report was taken regarding a runaway on Maplewood Avenue. Around the same time, officers responded to a disturbance on East Mound Street and a non-injury accident on West Main Street at 8:53 a.m., both of which resulted in reports being filed.

Midday saw additional traffic-related incidents, including a non-injury accident on North Pickaway Street at 12:57 p.m. and a theft report taken from the South U.S. 23 area at 1:52 p.m. Additionally, officers responded to several other minor issues, including alarm drops and suspicious person calls, which were resolved with no further action needed.

At 4:16 p.m., officers responded to a probation complaint on Dunmore Road, which was cleared without incident. Later in the afternoon, officers responded to a report of threats and harassment on Mace Drive at 4:16 p.m., with a report taken, and a similar call came in from South Pickaway Street at 5:56 p.m.

As evening approached, there were further calls regarding theft at 6:08 p.m. on East Franklin Street and a report of threats on North Pickaway Street at 6:55 p.m. Officers also responded to a 911 accidental call on South Scioto Street at 6:29 p.m., which was checked and cleared.

Other calls throughout the day included complaints about unruly juveniles, civil process papers being served, and a vehicle fire on South Court Street at 4:31 p.m., with a report taken. Several calls, including those related to a warrant and a traffic stop on North Scioto Street, were resolved with no major incidents or arrests.

The Circleville Police Department continues to monitor and address a range of issues across the city. No serious injuries were reported from the incidents handled throughout the day.
