The day began early with a criminal mischief report on Delano Avenue. Officers were dispatched to 243 Delano Avenue at 1:57 a.m. in reference to an incident of property damage. A report was taken, and the investigation is ongoing.
Theft and Trespassing at Coughlin Chevrolet
At approximately 2:55 a.m., police responded to a theft report at Coughlin Chevrolet on North Bridge Street. Officers arrived to investigate the active theft. Details remain limited as the investigation continues, but it marks one of several theft-related incidents reported that day.
Disorderly Conduct at Speedway
Around 3:15 a.m., a disorderly conduct call brought officers to the Speedway station at 10 North Bridge Street. Authorities were called to the scene after a disturbance involving fighting or threatening behavior. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Criminal Trespass at Speedway
At 5:50 a.m., officers were again dispatched to the Speedway on North Bridge Street, this time for a criminal trespassing report. A person reportedly refused to leave the premises, and officers are continuing to investigate the situation.
Breaking and Entering on South Paint Street
A breaking and entering case was reported at 8:24 a.m. on South Paint Street. Officers are actively investigating the burglary, which occurred during the early morning hours.
Menacing Reported at Dunham’s on North Bridge
Police were dispatched to Dunham’s Sports on North Bridge Street at 10:33 a.m. regarding a menacing situation. A disorderly individual was reportedly causing a disturbance. The investigation is ongoing.
DUS Arrest on South Bridge Street
At 12:33 p.m., police conducted a traffic stop on South Bridge Street, leading to an arrest for Driving Under Suspension (DUS) related to child support and unpaid fines. The individual was taken into custody, and the incident is resolved.
Thefts and Disturbances Reported Throughout the Day
The afternoon saw multiple reports of theft, including incidents at 13:09 p.m. on West 4th Street and 18:23 p.m. at a location on North Bridge Street. Police are continuing their investigations into these thefts, which appear to involve stolen goods without consent.
Officers also responded to various disturbances and property-related calls, including one at 3:03 p.m. on North Bridge Street, where found property was reported, and another at 3:22 p.m. on Wetzel Drive concerning a disturbance. No further details were provided for these incidents.
Fugitive Arrest on East Main Street
At 10:46 p.m., a traffic stop on East Main Street led to the arrest of an individual wanted on a fugitive from justice warrant.
