Chillicothe, OH – The Chillicothe Police Department responded to a range of incidents throughout the city on November 18, 2024. Among the notable cases were traffic stops, theft reports, and various investigations into criminal activity. Here are some of the key incidents from the day:

Another traffic stop occurred shortly after on Yoctangee Parkway at Mill Street, where an individual was found to be driving under an OVI suspension and without a valid license. Officers also stopped vehicles on Bridge Street, 2nd Street, and East Main Street, issuing both warnings and citations.
  • Assault Reports: At 8:15 a.m., officers responded to a reported assault on Yoctangee Parkway, involving a juvenile. Further details are pending as the investigation continues.   • Juvenile and Family-Related Issues: Officers responded to reports of an unruly child on East 7th Street at 6:24 p.m., and a missing person case was reported at N Brownell Street at 7:42 p.m. Investigations into both incidents are still active.
  • Other Calls: Police were also dispatched to several other calls, including a vandalism report at the High Street Church of Christ at 6:46 p.m. and a disorderly conduct complaint involving a fight at Columbus Street at 8:21 p.m. Additionally, officers responded to a warrant at Fayette County Jail at 8:34 p.m.
