Pickaway County – A construction worker was injured in a hit-and-run incident on November 18, 2024, around noon in Pickaway County. The crash occurred on TR-66 (Bolender Pontius Road) when a 2020 Ford Escape, driven by 92-year-old, struck a construction flagger who was working in a marked area surrounded by cones and warning signs.

The vehicle, which had been traveling northbound, made contact with the 18-year-old worker, Dominic Walker. Following the incident, Thompson did not stop at the scene but continued driving.
