COLUMBUS, Ohio — In a tribute to the life and service of Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction Officer Andrew Lansing, Governor Mike DeWine has ordered flags to be flown at half-staff. This directive applies to all public buildings and grounds throughout Ross County, as well as at the Ohio Statehouse, the Vern Riffe Center, and Rhodes Tower. Additionally, all facilities within the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction will follow this protocol until sunset on the day of Officer Lansing’s funeral.

Governor DeWine also extended the option for other public buildings and grounds across the state to display flags at half-staff during the same period, in honor of Officer Lansing’s contributions and sacrifice.
