OHIO – A new “Snow Angel Challenge” is sweeping the area, and it is going viral. People are challenging others to do snow angels in bathing suits.
Originally the Snow Angel Challenge was launched in 2018 by The Salvation Army it was to encouraging residents to turn their snowy yards into a source of good this winter. Since then its has been modified and done year after year sometimes attached to good causes.
The campaign invited individuals to create snow angels in their yards, take a video, and share it on social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or Snapchat with the hashtag #SnowAngelChallenge. Participants can also choose to make a donation online or locally.
The challenge aims to raise money and awareness for the Salvation Army’s ongoing efforts to support families and individuals struggling in the community. Officials say the goal is to help “lift neighbors in need out of poverty” and prevent a “snowball effect” where challenges continue to build on one another.
