CIRCLEVILLE, OH — Several individuals appeared before Judge Matthew H. Chafin in the Pickaway County Court of Common Pleas on January 7, 2025. Below are the cases that were heard:
- Deveion Bracey, 19, currently incarcerated at the Circleville Juvenile Correctional Facility, faces Assault charges. The court has ordered a Presentence Investigation (PSI).
- Jason B. Churchill, 37, from the Mansfield Correctional Facility, is charged with Aggravated Possession of Drugs. He pled not guilty (NG) and his pretrial is scheduled for January 16.
- John V. Graves, 45, of Circleville, Ohio, is dealing with a Violation of Probation. His case has been continued for further hearing.
- Thomas E. Griffith, 53, from Williamsport, Ohio, is facing Vehicular Assault charges. Griffith pled not guilty and his pretrial is set for January 16. The court also issued an order of no contact with the victim.
- Eric T. Pettiford, 40, of the NorthEast Correctional Facility, faces charges related to the Illegal Conveyance of Drugs onto the Grounds of a Detention Facility and Possession of Drugs. Pettiford pled not guilty, with a pretrial set for January 16.
- Eddie E. Rhodes, 45, from Columbus, Ohio, was found guilty of violating probation. As a result, his intervention was terminated, and he has been sentenced to 120 days in the Pickaway County Jail.
- Tristian M. Stumbo, 29, of Laurelville, Ohio, faces charges of Aggravated Vehicular Assault and OMVI (Operating a Motor Vehicle Impaired). Stumbo pled not guilty, with a pretrial scheduled for January 16. The court issued a no driving privileges order and a no contact with the victim directive.
- Sarah Ann Weaver, 30, from Circleville, Ohio, is facing Felonious Assault charges. Weaver pled not guilty by reason of insanity and has been committed to inpatient treatment until restored to competency.
All pretrials are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on January 16.
