She was born February 21, 1947 to her parents Ralph (Fast) and Bernice Starkey (Byers) in Columbus, Ohio. Linda and Tom was married November 17, 1973 and shared 45 wonderful years together. Linda loved to travel especially the yearly trips to Florida and many other places. She loved spending time with family and friends. She also loved those road trips she would make to spend time with her son and family. Also her shopping trips her and her daughter would make. Above all else, Linda loved spending time with her family. She called them her “Flock”. She also was an animal lover.
She was a loving wife, wonderful mother, and a fun grandmother, and a great-grandmother and as well as a friend to all. Linda will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Linda is preceded in death by her husband, John “Tom”, her parents, her sister, Kathy, her brothers, Ronnie and Ralph, and her grandson, Matt.
Left to mourn her, her brothers, Bob (Mary) Byers and Ed Byers, her children, Keith (Denise) Kerens and Susan (Mike) Porter, her stepson, Jeff (Renate) Hartsaugh, her grandchildren, Jamie, Chad, Joey, Travis, Eli (Paige), Jesse (Kendra) and Bethany, her great-grandchildren, Reese, Riley, Blake, Brooklyn, Bladen, Addison, Ashlynne, Carson, Aubree, Kayden, Jayden, and her sister-in-law, Yvette, as well as many friends.
Visitation will be held at Defenbaugh Wise Schoedinger Funeral Home, 151 E. Main St, Circleville on Thursday, January 16, 2025 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. A Funeral Service will be on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 11:00am with Jim Ferrell officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery.
