Chillicothe, OH – A busy night for the Chillicothe Police Department on January 19, 2025, saw multiple incidents reported throughout the city, including thefts, domestic violence cases, and disorderly conduct.
The first call came in at 1:07 AM, when officers responded to a report of a theft by threat at the BP gas station located at 1141 E Main St. The situation was under investigation as of the time of reporting.
At 4:06 AM, police initiated a traffic stop on a Honda SUV on Dayton Street. The stop led to an arrest involving a warrant, possession of a Schedule I or II drug, and driving under suspension (DUS). The investigation is ongoing.
Later in the morning, at 10:43 AM, officers were dispatched to the Law Complex on Delano Ave. in response to a juvenile-related investigation. Details are still pending as the investigation continues.
A disorderly conduct call came in at 11:19 AM from 78 S Walnut St. Officers responded to the scene, and further details were being gathered at the time of the report.
Another warrant-related incident was reported at 2:03 PM on N Paint St. A warrant was issued, but additional information was not available.
Domestic violence was a recurring issue on January 19, with two separate incidents. At 5:18 PM, officers responded to 93 N Rose St. regarding an active domestic violence situation, where physical harm had been inflicted. The investigation is still ongoing.
At 7:01 PM, officers were dispatched to 10 N Bridge St. (Speedway) in reference to a disorderly conduct report involving fighting or threatening behavior. The situation is being reviewed, with no further updates at the time of the report.
At 8:56 PM, another theft was reported at the Walmart on River Trace Lane. Officers are investigating the incident, and no additional details have been released.
Lastly, at 11:25 PM, a domestic violence dispute was reported at 179 E Water St. Officers are continuing their investigation into the matter.
