Chillicothe police officers were busy throughout the day on January 30, 2025, responding to various incidents across the city, including theft, drug overdose, domestic violence, and multiple warrant arrests.

Traffic and Warrant Arrests

  • A traffic stop was conducted near E. Water St. and N. Watt St. for an expired plate citation.
  • Speeding violations resulted in multiple stops along Yoctangee Parkway.
  • Officers made several warrant arrests, including incidents on N. Paint St., Fleet St., and Fairway Ave.

Drug Overdose & Disorderly Conduct
At 5:40 a.m., officers responded to 304 Riverside St. for a reported drug overdose. A report was taken, and the case is under investigation.

Domestic Violence & Criminal Incidents

  • Officers were dispatched to 16 S. Walnut St. for a domestic disturbance.
  • A counterfeit money investigation is ongoing after officers responded to Kingston National Bank on Western Ave.

Burglary & Juvenile Complaints

Motor Vehicle Accident & OVI Investigation
Police responded to 1165 Western Ave. (Kroger) following a motor vehicle accident involving an OVI (Operating a Vehicle Impaired) violation. Authorities are still investigating the crash.
