Chillicothe Police Respond to Multiple Incidents on February 9

CHILLICOTHE, OH – The Chillicothe Police Department responded to multiple incidents on February 9, 2025, ranging from traffic violations and disorderly conduct to burglary and drug possession.

  • Disorderly Conduct: Officers were dispatched to 8 Iroquois Drive at 12:44 AM following a domestic disturbance report.
  • Traffic Violations: A traffic stop at East Main and Logan Streets resulted in a citation for a driver with a license suspension. Later in the morning, officers monitored speeding violations on East Main Street and responded to a traffic crash on Cherokee Road involving improper starting or backing.
  • Found Property: An Apple iPhone was turned in to authorities after being discovered near Crosskeys Tavern, and an investigation is ongoing.
  • Criminal Cases: A criminal mischief complaint was reported on Akron Street, while officers responded to a burglary complaint on Diehl Street in the afternoon.
  • Arrests & Warrants: Officers assisted in the arrest of an individual on Diehl Street with multiple warrants and an obstruction charge.
  • Drug Possession: A late-night traffic stop on North Bridge Street resulted in a citation for possession of a Schedule I or II controlled substance and a headlight violation.
