CHILLICOTHE, OH — The Chillicothe Police Department (CPD) responded to multiple incidents across the city on February 20, 2025, ranging from theft and trespassing to traffic violations and outstanding warrants. Below is a summary of the most notable cases from the department’s daily media report.

Traffic Violations and Arrests
98 W Main St (12:41 a.m.) – Officers conducted a traffic stop and cited a driver for driving under suspension (DUS) due to an FRA and random verification suspension.
E Main St (8:49 p.m.) – A driver was cited for failing to properly display license plates and validation stickers during a routine traffic stop.
E Water St (10:06 p.m.) – A driver was pulled over for texting while driving after officers observed him using his phone. The driver, identified as Tyler Ryan, admitted to checking the status of a Chipotle order. He was cited and released, with a court date set for March 3, 2025.
Trespassing and Disorderly Conduct
S Walnut St (2:01 a.m.) – Officers responded to the Chillicothe Post Office after reports of two individuals sleeping in the lobby. They were removed, and an investigation is ongoing.
S Walnut St (5:43 a.m.) – Another criminal trespassing case was reported at Trippies Laundromat. Officers made contact with an individual on the premises.

Plum St (5:31 p.m.) – Police responded to a telephone harassment complaint after a resident reported receiving threats.
Lowe’s Parking Lot (9:04 p.m.) – Two individuals reported to the LEC after striking a man and a juvenile female with their Tesla in the parking lot. The male victim declined to involve the police, opting instead to take his daughter to the hospital.
