Ross County Law Enforcement Responds to Multiple Incidents Over the Weekend

ROSS COUNTY, OH – Law enforcement agencies across Ross County responded to a variety of incidents over the weekend, ranging from burglary and disorderly conduct to drug possession and outstanding warrants.

Burglary and Criminal Trespass Investigations
On February 22, officers were dispatched to assist the Ross County Sheriff’s Office with a burglary complaint on Western Avenue. The case remains under investigation. Authorities also responded to two criminal trespass reports, one at a gas station on East Main Street and another on Warner Avenue involving a suspicious person.

Warrants and Arrests
Several individuals with outstanding warrants were located and taken into custody. Cheyenne C. Nutt was arrested at Sherman Park after officers confirmed her active warrant. Additionally, Enddasey Banks was discovered hiding inside a tote in a closet at a residence on Hirn Street, where authorities confirmed she had four active warrants for her arrest.

Troy Fleckinger was apprehended in Waverly and transported to Ross County Jail. Deputies also picked up an individual on Blackwater Road who had been arrested in Pickaway County on a Ross County warrant. Another subject was detained at the Fayette/Ross County line by Washington Court House Police and transferred to Ross County Jail.

Traffic Violations and Accidents
A minor injury crash was reported near a gas station on North Bridge Street, with authorities investigating a failure to yield incident. Additionally, a hit-and-run was reported at 1 N. Bridge Street. Officers stopped a driver on E. Water Street who was operating a vehicle with an expired registration and a non-compliance suspension.

Drug-Related Incidents
Authorities responded to Main Street in Bainbridge after drug paraphernalia was discovered in a public restroom. A suspect was cited for possession of drugs and drug abuse instruments. The investigation is ongoing.

Domestic Violence Reports
Deputies responded to Miller Road after receiving a report that a woman’s father had assaulted her. Another domestic violence case was investigated on Concord Church Road, where authorities were dispatched to handle a potential altercation.

Disorderly Conduct and Other Complaints
Law enforcement addressed multiple disorderly conduct incidents, including one on Eastern Avenue where a woman was reportedly using racial slurs and refusing to leave a property. She was cited and trespassed from the location. Another disorderly incident involved an intoxicated individual on Hospital Road.

An animal complaint on Hirn Street and a telecommunications harassment report on Mount Zion Road were also among the cases under investigation.

Authorities continue to investigate several of these cases and urge residents to report any suspicious activity. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
