
Circleville, OH (02/26/2025) – The Circleville Police Department responded to multiple incidents throughout the city on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Officers handled a variety of calls, ranging from suspicious persons and traffic stops to more serious reports of assault and suicide threats.
Among the notable incidents:
- Suspicious Activity: Officers responded to a report of a suspicious person on Harrison Street shortly after midnight. The situation was checked and found to be okay.
- Traffic Stops: Several traffic stops were conducted throughout the day, resulting in warnings and one report being taken on Clinton Street at 12:45 a.m.
- Warrant Searches: Officers attempted to locate individuals with outstanding warrants at locations on Logan Street and U.S. 23, but the subjects were gone upon arrival.
- Emergency Responses: Fire and EMS crews were dispatched to various calls, including a fire on East Mill Street at 6:30 a.m. and an alarm drop on Lancaster Pike at 6:59 a.m.
- Juvenile-Related Calls: Officers responded to multiple calls involving juveniles, including an unruly juvenile and suicide threats on Lancaster Pike at 12:40 p.m., with a report taken. Another juvenile complaint was made on North Court Street in the evening, though no report was filed.
- Assault Reported: A reported assault occurred on North Court Street at 2:08 p.m. Emergency responders were on scene but did not transport the individual.
- Property Damage: Officers responded to a property damage complaint on John Street at 1:51 p.m., with a report taken.
- Drunk Driving & Medical Emergencies: A suspected drunk driver on London Road was handled by another agency, while a separate incident on East Union Street at 10:47 p.m. resulted in a squad transporting an individual to the hospital.
Throughout the day, officers also conducted extra patrols, well-being checks, and responded to several 911 hang-ups, all of which were checked and deemed okay.
