LANCASTER, Ohio (March 8, 2025, 10 p.m.) – The Lancaster Festival Board of Directors has unveiled an exciting milestone for its 2025 “Reveal Event.” For the first time in festival history, the August 2 Grand Finale concert on the Wendel Concert Stage will feature two headliners: Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat and folk-rock band Dawes.

Tickets for the highly anticipated evening, as well as other festival events, will go on sale May 1. The festival, a 10-day celebration of music, art, and community, promises to deliver an unforgettable experience.

Colbie Caillat: A Grammy-Winning Star

Colbie Caillat, a two-time Grammy Award winner with five nominations, has amassed over 15 billion streams worldwide. Her debut album, Coco, reached #5 on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart and is certified 3x Platinum, while her Platinum-selling follow-up album Breakthrough debuted at #1.

Known for hits like “Bubbly” (6x Platinum), “Realize,” and “Try,” Caillat has a warm, engaging stage presence and a reputation as an expert storyteller. She recently released her debut solo country album, Along The Way, featuring singles “I’ll Be Here” (with Sheryl Crow), “Worth It,” and “Still Gonna Miss You.”

Beyond music, Caillat is a dedicated advocate for organizations such as ASPCA, the Surfrider Foundation, Save The Music, Farm Sanctuary, and The Humane Society of the United States.

Dawes Brings Folk-Rock to Lancaster

Joining Caillat as co-headliner is Dawes, the critically acclaimed folk-rock band known for its introspective songwriting and seamless blend of Americana and rock. Led by brothers Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith, Dawes has earned a devoted following with their rich musicianship and evocative lyrics.

A Spectacular Festival Lineup

“Anyone who watched the 2025 Grammy Awards saw how incredible Dawes was, and Colbie is absolutely breathtaking in concert,” said Lancaster Festival Director Deb Connell. “We are in for a phenomenal night!”

The Lancaster Festival Orchestra, under the direction of John Devlin, will open each evening with an inspiring performance, marking Devlin’s first season conducting at the festival. The night will culminate in a dazzling fireworks display, a tradition that bookends each Saturday performance.

In addition to the Grand Finale, the festival will feature a Wednesday-night tribute concert on July 30, headlined by Hairball, a high-energy act paying homage to legendary arena rock bands like Van Halen, KISS, Mötley Crüe, Queen, Journey, and Aerosmith. The band’s electrifying show features spot-on performances and dramatic stage transformations throughout the night.

A full schedule of events, including details on the first Saturday night concert (July 26), will be announced in the coming months. For the latest updates, visit www.lancasterfestival.org.
