
CANAL WINCHESTER, Ohio – A Circleville man was among 12 individuals arrested in an undercover prostitution sting conducted by the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office on March 7, 2025.
The operation targeted individuals soliciting prostitution through online advertisements. Undercover deputies posed as sex workers, and suspects who arranged meetings and confirmed their intent to engage in illegal activity were taken into custody without incident.
Among those arrested was Connor Warden, 27, of Circleville, an optician. Others charged with Engagement in Sexual Activity for Hire included individuals from Columbus, Dublin, Whitehall, and even as far as Arkansas and West Virginia.

“This operation is part of our ongoing effort to combat illegal activity and human trafficking in our community,” said Sheriff Alex Lape. “We want to send a clear message that those seeking to exploit others through prostitution will be held accountable.”
Authorities stress that prostitution-related crimes often tie into broader criminal networks, including human trafficking. The investigation remains ongoing.
