CHILLICOTHE, OH – The popular gas station and convenience store chain Sheetz is set to open a new location in Chillicothe, continuing its expansion throughout Ohio. The upcoming store will be located on North Bridge Street in the 1500 block, with an expected opening date in 2026.
Sheetz, based in Altoona, Pennsylvania, has rapidly grown in Ohio, with Circleville being one of the first cities in the state to welcome the chain. More recently, Sheetz opened a location in South Bloomfield in 2023, and now Ross County is next in line.
While some Sheetz locations cater to semi-truck drivers with expanded parking, the Chillicothe store is expected to resemble the Circleville model, which focuses on convenience for everyday travelers.
Sheetz is widely known for its made-to-order food, including sandwiches, burgers, and baked goods, available for order via their mobile app. The chain prides itself on offering fast, high-quality food that competes with traditional quick-serve restaurants.
As Sheetz continues to expand in Ohio, Chillicothe residents can look forward to a new go-to stop for fuel, food, and convenience when the location opens in 2026.
