Circleville, OH – The Circleville Police Department responded to a variety of incidents throughout the city on March 13, 2025, ranging from domestic disturbances to thefts and suspicious activities.

  • Domestic Disputes: Officers were dispatched to multiple reports of domestic trouble throughout the day. Arrests were made in the 1:51 a.m. incident on E. Ohio St. and again at 11:44 p.m. on Watt St. No report was taken for a domestic issue on Watt St. earlier in the day at 11:30 a.m.
  • Burglary and Theft: A burglary in progress was reported at 1:32 a.m. on Stihl Ave., and a theft occurred on E. Main St. at 3:42 p.m. Another theft was reported at 7:20 p.m. on Forestview Ct., and a theft investigation remained open on S. Court St. at 8:00 p.m. Several other theft calls were investigated, but no suspects were located.
  • Suspicious Activity: Officers responded to multiple suspicious activity reports, including a suspicious person on W. Ohio St. at 3:59 a.m. and another on S. Court St. at 7:12 a.m. Both reports were cleared, with no further action needed.
  • Well-Being Checks: Officers conducted well-being checks on US 23 at 1:11 a.m., Clark Dr. at 8:52 a.m., and E. Main St. at 3:59 p.m. Each of these checks was resolved, with one resulting in an arrest.
  • Accidents: A non-injury accident occurred on N. Pickaway St. at 11:44 a.m., and a separate injury accident was reported on Mingo St. at 9:04 p.m. Officers investigated and reported the details for both incidents.
  • Other Notable Calls: Calls for service included noise complaints, 911 hang-ups, dirt bike and ATV complaints, and miscellaneous complaints, most of which were cleared or resolved without further incident.

The department’s efforts were focused on resolving issues related to public safety, with numerous incidents being handled promptly.
