The Circleville Police Department responded to a range of incidents throughout March 18, 2025, with varying outcomes across the city.

Suspicious and Miscellaneous Complaints

Early in the day, officers responded to several suspicious person and vehicle calls, including incidents on Logan St, N Washington St, and N Court St. In some cases, officers were unable to locate the individuals involved, while others were checked and deemed okay. At 4:47 AM, a trespassing complaint was reported on South Court St, and a report was taken.

Traffic Stops and Vehicle Issues

The department conducted multiple traffic stops on March 18. Officers issued warnings at various locations, including Logan St, N Washington St, and US 23. A traffic jam and roadblock on US 23 was handled by another agency.

Disturbance and Well-Being Check

At 7:19 AM, police were called to a disturbance on Logan St, but the situation was unconfirmed upon arrival. Later, a well-being check was conducted on Logan St at 9:58 AM, with a report taken.

Civil and Alarm-Related Calls

Throughout the day, officers responded to various civil matters, including a civil process call on East Ohio St, where paperwork was served. Alarm drops were reported on Butternut Ave and N Court St, but in both cases, no further issues were found.

Accidents and Theft Incidents

At 2:32 PM, an accident was reported on South Court St, but it was determined to be a hit-and-skip, prompting a report. Later, officers responded to a theft report on US 23 South at 4:32 PM and another on E Mound St at 3:54 PM, which was later cancelled prior to arrival.

Domestic Trouble and Warrant Reports

At 9:37 PM, a domestic trouble call on E Ohio St led to a report being taken. Additionally, at 11:38 PM, police responded to a warrant-related issue on N Paint St, and a report was filed.

Animal and Other Calls

Other notable incidents included an animal call on Renick Ave, which was handled by another agency, and a civil problem on Sycamore Dr. Officers also responded to multiple alarm drops, 911 hang-ups, and parking complaints throughout the day.
