Circleville law enforcement had a full day on March 20, responding to 31 calls for service, including warrant arrests, thefts, and protection order violations.

Authorities attempted to serve multiple warrants across the city, but in several cases, the suspects were gone on arrival before officers arrived. However, arrests were successfully made on South Washington Street and East Franklin Street.

Other notable incidents included a burglary report, a fraud case on Island Road, and two violations of protection orders—one on Avon Drive and another on West Water Street.

Officers also responded to a theft on Gumm Place, an animal call on South Court Street, and multiple 911 hang-ups throughout the day. A mutual aid fire call was reported on Ringgold Southern Road, with the Circleville Fire Department assisting.

Despite several reports of suspicious activity—including vehicles and persons—many of these cases resulted in no reports taken or the suspects being gone on arrival.

The Circleville Police Department continues to investigate ongoing cases and urges residents to report any suspicious activity.
