Chillicothe Police Respond to Multiple Incidents on March 26, 2025

CHILLICOTHE, OH – The Chillicothe Police Department responded to a range of incidents on March 26, 2025, including multiple thefts, drug-related offenses, and warrants served throughout the city.

Criminal Incidents

  • Theft Reports: Officers responded to several theft complaints, including incidents at Wetzel Drive, River Trace Lane (Walmart), and Kohl’s. Investigations are ongoing.
  • Criminal Mischief: A report was filed for an incident on Maderia Avenue, with authorities working to determine further details.
  • Assault: A juvenile was reportedly assaulted by other juveniles at Tiffin Towers. Police are continuing their investigation.

Drug & Warrant Arrests

  • Drug Possession & Illegal Conveyance: A traffic stop on Eastern Avenue resulted in a drug-related arrest.
  • Warrant Arrests: Several individuals were taken into custody on outstanding warrants at S. Mulberry Street, N. Paint Street, Sycamore Street, and S. Walnut Street.

Traffic Violations & Other Offenses

  • Traffic Violations: Police issued citations for stop sign violations, driving under suspension (DUS), and failure to display plates.
  • Disorderly Conduct: Officers responded to a possible assault at Marco’s Pizza on Western Avenue.
  • Criminal Trespass: Two separate trespassing complaints were reported on E. Water Street and Fruit Hill Drive.
