LANCASTER, OH – Thomas Allen Stanley, 36

, has been sentenced to 40 years to life in prison after being found guilty of multiple felony charges, including four counts of rape of a minor. The sentencing follows a three-day jury trial that concluded on March 6th.

Stanley was originally indicted in September 2024 on 24 felony counts. The jury found him guilty of first-degree felonies for engaging in sexual activity with a minor under the age of 13. The abuse began in 2021 and continued until February 14, 2024, when Fairfield County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a call regarding an incident.

The trial included compelling testimony from the now 13-year-old victim, her brother, and her mother. DNA evidence was also presented, corroborating the allegations against Stanley.

In addition to the four counts of rape of a minor, Stanley was also found guilty of 16 counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material, five counts of pandering obscenity, and one count of possessing criminal tools. He faced the judge today for sentencing on all counts.

The lengthy sentence reflects the severity of the crimes committed against the young victim. The Fairfield County Prosecutor’s Office pursued the case vigorously, emphasizing the need to protect children from such heinous acts. The victim and her family have expressed relief at the outcome of the trial and sentencing.
