CHILLICOTHE, OH — The Chillicothe Police Department responded to a range of incidents throughout the city on April 15, 2025, according to its daily media report. A total of 23 reports were filed, including traffic stops, domestic violence, thefts, warrant arrests, and drug-related offenses.

Early in the morning, an officer conducted a traffic stop on West Main Street that led to the arrest of an unruly juvenile. Later, a separate warrant arrest was made on North Paint Street, with the investigation still ongoing.

At approximately 8:16 a.m., a domestic violence complaint was reported from a residence on Gilmore Street. Officers also responded to a breaking and entering incident shortly afterward on South Walnut Street.

The department investigated several thefts throughout the day, including a report from the state liquor store on East Main Street and a shoplifting incident at Walmart on River Trace Lane, which resulted in a summons being issued.

Officers also addressed drug-related activity. At 3:52 p.m., they were dispatched to rooms at 1250 North Bridge Street for a domestic dispute that led to the discovery of suspected drugs and paraphernalia. Another traffic stop later that evening at the BP Gas Station on East Main Street resulted in citations for drug trafficking and possession.

In addition to criminal activity, police handled non-criminal matters, such as found property on Garden Drive and a non-suspicious death on East 5th Street. Juvenile-related complaints were also documented, including a runaway case and a mischief complaint at Lincoln Park.

Later in the night, officers responded to a disorderly conduct complaint at an apartment on Fairway Avenue and assisted with an alarm call at the Marathon Gas Station on Pleasant Valley Road through a mutual aid request from the Ross County Sheriff’s Office.

The Chillicothe Police Department continues to investigate several of the incidents reported. Anyone with information related to any of the ongoing investigations is encouraged to contact CPD.
