
CIRCLEVILLE, OH — April 16, 2025
The Circleville Police Department responded to a variety of incidents across the city on Tuesday, April 15, ranging from theft reports and breaking and entering to civil matters and animal complaints.
Police took multiple theft reports, including two on Clark Drive and one in progress on South Court Street. Officers also responded to a breaking and entering incident on East Ohio Street in the early morning hours.
Several calls related to public welfare and safety were also logged, including well-being checks on South Pickaway Street, Kingston Court, and East Mound Street. In each case, officers found no immediate concerns, with many marked as “Gone on Arrival” or “Checked Okay.”
Animal-related incidents kept officers active, with calls on U.S. Route 23, Logan Street, and East Main Street. One report resulted in documentation, while others did not require a report or the animals were not located upon arrival.
Officers also issued warnings following traffic stops, including one on East Main Street involving a suspected drunk driver.
Fraud investigations were reported on North Court and East Franklin Streets, with at least one case referred to another agency for further investigation.
In total, the department handled 34 incidents over the course of the day. No major injuries or arrests were reported.
