Chillicothe, OH — A routine traffic stop in the early morning hours of April 16 led to a significant drug seizure, according to a report from the Chillicothe Police Department.
Officer Jonathan Davis observed a black Mercedes with an improperly lit tag light traveling east on East Main Street. He initiated a stop at the BP Gas Station and made contact with the driver, identified as Isaiah Allagree, and passenger Heath Coil.
Upon approach, Officer Davis noted that Allagree appeared visibly nervous, with heavy breathing and shaking hands. As the officer spoke with the driver, Coil reached into his pocket, prompting a command to stop. Coil informed the officer he had an unloaded firearm and offered to surrender it. The officer had him exit the vehicle, secured the weapon, and confirmed it was not reported stolen.
The situation escalated when Allagree exited the vehicle unprompted, citing nervousness. During questioning, he admitted to having a “zip” of marijuana in the car. He then granted permission for officers to search the vehicle.
The search uncovered a black trash bag in the backseat containing two gallon-sized ziplock bags filled with what appeared to be marijuana—one full, the other nearly empty. Also inside were 15 glass jars, each containing five half-gram pre-rolled joints, and a large box labeled “#stayfryd” holding 50 THC vape cartridges, each marked with 2 grams of THC.
All items were seized and submitted as evidence for lab testing. Allagree was issued a citation for driving without a license and given a court date of April 25. The vehicle was released to a licensed driver. No arrests were made at the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
