CIRCLEVILLE — Circleville police officers responded to a wide range of calls between April 25 and April 27, 2025, handling a total of 90 incidents across the city.

Among the activity were several traffic stops, resulting in both warnings and citations. Officers also responded to multiple reports of theft, fights, and disturbances, particularly along S. Court Street, Walnut Street, and N. Court Street. A handful of domestic disputes and juvenile complaints were documented, with several reports taken.

Notable incidents included a theft in progress reported on E. Ohio Street early Friday morning and a non-injury vehicle accident on U.S. Route 22 later that day. Officers issued citations after traffic accidents on E. Main Street and N. Court Street and responded to an assault report on N. Court Street Friday evening.

Throughout the weekend, police conducted well-being checks, addressed multiple 911 hang-ups, and investigated reports of suspicious persons and disturbances. Several property damage complaints and threats or harassment reports were also logged, although in many cases no formal reports were filed.

Mutual aid was requested from the Circleville Fire Department on U.S. 23 for a fire-related call, and multiple animal calls were handled by other agencies. Officers also checked on alarm drops at various businesses and responded to noise complaints and vandalism reports.

Police continue to work closely with community members to maintain public safety and encourage residents to report suspicious activity.
