CIRCLEVILLE, OH – A group of kittens, abandoned in a cardboard box at Ted Lewis Park, were saved by local workers this morning. The kittens, pictured below, were found with some food but no water and were brought to safety amid the hot weather conditions.

The kittens are now safe at a local shelter, thanks to the prompt actions of the workers who discovered them. “We are thankful for the workers who found the kittens and brought them to our shelter,” a shelter spokesperson said. “They might not have survived the heat if left alone.”

The kittens are friendly and will be available for adoption after receiving necessary veterinary care. The shelter is asking the public for any information about the kittens’ previous whereabouts.

If you recognize these kittens or have any information, please message the shelter directly.
