Armed Suspect Arrested After Forcing Entry Into Lancaster Homes

LANCASTER, OH – A Lancaster man was taken into custody Sunday morning after allegedly forcing his way into multiple residences while armed with a handgun, according to the Lancaster Police Department (LPD).

At approximately 10:00 a.m. on February 16, 2025, LPD received multiple 911 calls reporting a male suspect attempting to break into homes in the area of Trace Drive and Williamsburg Lane. Officers quickly responded and located the suspect, later identified as 22-year-old Wesley M. Music, in the backyard of a residence. Authorities also recovered the firearm at the scene.

The LPD Detective Bureau launched an investigation, leading to Music’s arrest. Before being booked into the Fairfield County Jail, he was transported to Fairfield Medical Center for evaluation. Music is currently being held on two counts of aggravated burglary.

The investigation remains ongoing.
