Betty J. Hatzo, 85, of Tarlton passed away on November 8, 2018. She was born on February 10, 1933 in Hocking County to Carl and Fanchion (Fetherolf) Stump. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jack Hatzo, children Carl Knece, Judy Stevens, Pamela Knece, 1 granddaughter and 2 great granddaughters and siblings Marie Whitcraft, Alice Groves, Rose Norton, Esther Henson, Marlene McNichols and Ruth Moore. Betty is survived by her children Donna (Max) Raines, Shelia Hinton, Helen (Marshall McCormick) Roth, Dema (Ron) Morgan, David Knece, 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren and by brother Patrick Stump and sister Audrey Azbell.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Wellman Funeral Home, Laurelville with burial to follow in Tarlton Cemetery.
