GROVE CITY & LANCASTER, OHIO — Big Lots is making a major comeback, with more than 100 store reopenings across the country, including two key locations in central Ohio: 3961 Hoover Road in Grove City and 1700 E. Main Street in Lancaster.
These reopenings come as part of a nationwide relaunch following the acquisition of over 200 Big Lots stores by Variety Wholesaler in December. After reopening nine stores earlier this month, the company is set to reopen 60 more starting May 1, with another 73 following on May 15.
The Grove City and Lancaster stores are part of this large-scale rollout, bringing renewed shopping options to local communities and creating new job opportunities in the region.
The reopening efforts will continue into early June, culminating in a “grand celebration” event this fall, according to a press release from Variety Wholesaler.
Other Ohio locations set to reopen include stores in Toledo, Fremont, Elyria, and multiple Columbus locations.
Customers can expect refreshed stores and updated inventory as Big Lots aims to reestablish itself in neighborhoods nationwide.
Stay tuned for reopening dates and celebration details.
